Living On Purpose ATL, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) organization that provides formerly incarcerated women with employment opportunities, life skills training, counseling, education and housing to help them overcome some of the challenges they face upon re-entering society and give them a greater chance to succeed. We will do this by providing a customized roadmap for success upon entry into the program. Our step-by-step program instills confidence and promotes a positive environment. It will strengthen, rebuild and prepare women for success with our General Education Development (GED) program, skills training, post-secondary education, financial literacy, career/job prep, referral for independent housing, and self-development training. We will also focus on health and wellness and offer in-person chef demos, nutrition guidance, Zumba, Yoga, and more. Most of all, we need you to help us stop this vicious cycle and give returning women a second chance.
Our goal is to reduce recidivism and the likelihood of women re-entering the carceral system by providing: employment opportunities, moving women from transitional housing to permanent housing/homeownership, and providing the counseling that will enable sustainable success. With your help, we do all this and more.
