Meet the Women of Purpose

Spotlight of the Year

Meet Shanitas Williams.

During her 6-year incarceration for a crime she didn't commit, she earned several certifications and attended technical college. Once released, she was living in a shelter and was told that she would not be reunited with her 4 children until she obtained permanent housing. Even though most people would have been discouraged and given up, Shanitas did not let that news hold her back. Shanitas joined our program at Living on Purpose ATL in 2019. After a combination of her endless hard work, your contributions, and partnering with several angels, Shanitas was able to purchase a home in November 2020.
